On my old laptop, when I watched videos on MPC , the videos were never the size of my screen, they were usually x or smaller.

However even when I watched full screens the subtitles would still be clear. However now on another laptop I'm forced to use, when i do fullscreen, the video is zoomed in so the pixels show very clearly, and the subtitles are not clear, nor are the images themselves. Does anyone know of a way to fix this through the settings of MPC?

My other one wasn't like this so I assume it's some setting I haven't gotten to yet. Or is this my computer's problem? When you play movies in a window and the player is set to 1x size, the wildow will display at the video's actual resolution.

When you select "full screen", the computer's display chipset upscales the player window to the native resolution of your display. The quality of the upscale varies by chipset. It just falls back to "seek by bitrate" mode when it detects something wrong in the continuity of the timestamps.

Also, it is now able to play streamed mpeg over http for example vlc's output. Please note that such files can't be seeked by design. If you try the sound will simply mute.
